Poetic Revolution
HOWL 27 is a Syracuse-based band that offers a unique glimpse into the human dilemma. Front man Christopher Robin is an energetic and politically charged poet. Robin calls on his decade-long cross-country travels for his commentary on the American experience. As the lyricist of the group he expresses both the large-scale social experience and also the personal, daily intimacies of life. Brothers Andy and Ben Sanefski (guitar and bass, respectively) draw on influences from across musical styles to create a seamless, often haunting rock/folk sound that frames the band’s lyrical narratives while offering their own vital commentary. The addition of Todd Reed on keys has given the group a more dramatic element to draw on furthering the overall impact and epic quality of the music. The band brings the feeling of an event, a spectacle and a movement into a single performance offering an experience unparalleled for the audience.
HOWL 27: born out of friendship and a yearning for connections, the band paints a unified portrait of a divided America.
